Neptune

Neptune is the furthest planet from the sun but it is very bright

Neptune.jpg

Neptune is the farthest planet from the Sun and is a dark, cold, and windy ice giant, with a vivid blue color due to methane in its atmosphere. It's a gas giant, primarily made of hydrogen, helium, and methane. Neptune has 14 known moons, including Triton, which has geysers that erupt icy material. Only one spacecraft, Voyager 2, has visited Neptune.
Here are some more facts about Neptune:
Distance from the Sun: Neptune is over 30 times further from the Sun than Earth.
Orbit: Neptune takes 165 Earth years to orbit the Sun.
Size: Neptune is about four times wider than Earth.
Winds: Neptune has the fastest winds in the solar system, reaching speeds of over 1,200 miles per hour.
Great Dark Spot: Voyager 2 observed a large storm, the Great Dark Spot, in 1989, NASA says.
Rings: Neptune has faint rings and ring arcs.
Blue Color: The methane in Neptune's atmosphere gives it its blue color.
Moons: Neptune has 14 known moons, with Triton being the largest, according to NASA.
Discovery: Neptune was discovered in 1846, based on calculations of variations in Uranus' orbit.
